The client wanted to bridge the gap between combat gear and daily gym wear. They needed shorts featuring the iconic 3-inch retro boxing waistband, but upgraded with lightweight, Glossy, moisture-wicking fabric and functional side pockets. The key challenge was ensuring deep pockets wouldn’t sag or bounce during high-intensity training.
Our Solution
Using our 13+ years of manufacturing expertise, we engineered a hybrid solution:
- Fabric: Premium 160GSM high-density polyester with ventilated mesh side panels.
- Craftsmanship: 4-needle 5-thread flat-lock seams with 1/4-inch double topstitching for heavy-duty durability.
- Pocket Engineering: Innovative pocket-anchoring system where 12.5-inch deep pocket bags are secured directly into the inner waistband with reinforced bar-tack stitching, ensuring zero shifting during movement.
